It was an experience-I guess

My good friend Brandi invited me to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. (Their followers refer to them as TSO.) She loves it. Many people love it too. I, personally, did not get it. It was a bunch of rockers with their 80's hair headbanging to Christmas music. To me, that doesn't go together.

I knew she was really excited and I was excited to get out of the house with her and Katherine and have some adult conversation. On the way to Memphis, Brandi and Katherine were talking about how they have been to the show before and have the CDs. They are fans- to say the least. I really didn't know what to expect. We went out to eat and headed for the show. After all of the jamming, Brandi asked me if I liked it. All I could say was that it was "different." At least I know what it is all about and I got to have that experience-I guess.

  2. Liz, I would have probably been the same way. It is possible to be outdated. I loved REO Speedwagon back in the day, but could care less about seeing them now. And definitely not trying to rock out to "Oh Christmas Tree." Very cheesy... :)

Hey, I tried to read your latest blog about Christmas, but when I click on the link it says it doesn't exist. Did you delete it?
